Prior to joining Almich & Associates in 1995, Jack was a Senior Manager in Arthur Andersen’s accounting and audit practice in their Orange County office where he was involved in servicing clients in a variety of industries, including health care and non-profit organizations. Jack was involved in purchase investigations, mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary public offerings, tax-exempt debt financings, as well as numerous audit engagements.
Since joining Almich & Associates in 1995, Jack has been involved in over 1,000 engagements with postsecondary educational organizations. As a result Jack has significant expertise in educational institutions’ financial statement and compliance audits; non-profit educational institutions’ audits as required under the Single Audit Act; and numerous regulatory compliance matters.
Jack is a 1982 cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jack is also a member of the Statewide Committee on Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
